I have 2 chihuahua pups, brothers, 12 weeks old, the bigger one is greedy! He fights over everything, he hoards toys, bones, anything that the other may have , he has to take it away, he actually fights with his brother, teeth barred, biting etc. What caused this problem as they have lots of toys and plenty of food, any ideas how to stop this behavior?

They dont fight over the food dish, they both have same toys, same bones etc. The bigger pup carries them all off and hides them so the smaller cant get them, if the smaller gets close to the things, the bigger then attacks, attacks the smaller when he has anything, just to take it away, not that he doesn't have his own. I make sure they each have the same thing, such as doggie bones etc. the bigger just wants it ALL

I think you need a lot more information than you are going to get here. I have Chi's and you must really understand behavior to be able to deal with the more "colorful" ones!

Seek professional help if your dogs are showing aggression - esp at such a young age. This really concerns me. Also get them neutered within the next month. Don't wait any longer.

I have two beagles-both near the same age. Used to have the same problem. For the food I use two different bowels and one eats in the kitchen the other in the living room.
As for playing for example tossing a ball I use two and first throw the ball for the dominate dog and then throw the ball in the other direction for the submissive one. This goes for rope pulling and such...two of everything

When you feed them, put them in separate rooms so they can't see or get to each other. Then as the aggressive pup eats, ADD food to his bowl. This will reassure him that no one will steal his food.

I'm not sure how to deal with the toys or single items like treats.

This is normal. This is not a problem. Use a rolled up newspaper and bop the big one on the head if he keeps creating havoc (which he will). He also needs to learn who is boss. Put him on his back and gently put your hand around his throat and use your other hand to keep him on his back. Dogs do this to each other, only their mouth is around the throat. Think about it. Both dogs need to realize that you are the Top Dog. Its all about domination.

The one is dominant. I always prefer to get dogs in pairs M/F. The female is usually dominant, but the male doesn't care. If you are going to only keep one of your boys, I would keep the submissive one. They are just easier to live with.

very easy Sibel rivalry.
dogs just do that and they don't have to be from the same litter.
it's also a dominance thing.
