At 13, I'm sure my parents wouldn't have allowed me to date unsupervised, either. I can't be certain, but my best guess is they care a great deal about him, & are therefore protective of him. They may also believe he's too young to date. I wouldn't take it personally, & I might even make a concerted effort to get to know his parents. If they get to know you, they may feel more trusting of you, & of him when he's with you. This will be especially true if you can accept any offers they may make to chaperone dates with grace & dignity.
Another angle you may employ is to get your own parents involved, if you're close enough to do so. You could ask their permission to invite this boy & his family over sometime. Summer provides perfect excuses for this, like grilling, going swimming, etc. Try it & see what happens. The worst they can say is no, & both sets of parents will appreciate the opportunity to get to know one another & to know what sort of families their children's friends come from.

I think that if you go with a group of friends, his parents will let him go.. You´re too young to be going around on Dates. Enjoy your Teen Years.. You Just started them.... Trust Me after School & Collage is over life starts going by a lot quicker! So Take you time!

His parents probably think that you are too young to date. Just ask him to go places with you and your parents, or to drop you off at the movies, skate rink, or arcade sometimes.

His parents don't think he is ready (most likely).
My first date at 13 was chaparoned. We went to the movies.
Maybe if you asked for a chaparoned date, you can see him.

its probably not that they dont like you, just parents are like that they are a bit protective of there children cause they love them, although i dont see any harm in going to the shops or the cinemas in the holidays, weekend. you are still pretty young.

it shouldnt be an issue, you are way too young to be going on dates at 13. If you were my kid I'd say no too.

Convince them to assign a chaperon for your dates, and also try to make yourself more well known to them.
Once they get to know you better, they might trust you enough to be with him alone.
