A lot of communication & understandment, love & loyalty, like I do with my current girlfriend now. In my opinion without those things, I don't think the relationship will last for more than a couple of years or less.

Stability and a few nice suprises here and there.
Stability as in that if the partner is a party animal, he/she won't change to stop partying.
A few nice suprises here and there as in if the partner is a party animal, it will be nice to see that he/she has a calm side once in a while.

It's different for everyone, but I can answer for myself. Most importantly, I want someone who likes me just the way I am and doesn't feel the need to change me, or hope that I'll change in any significant way. I want someone with whom I can share a lot of the things I enjoy doing. I want someone whose weaknesses are in different areas than mine so we can help each other. I'd like for there to be strong sexual chemistry between us. I need someone whose value system is pretty close to mine, so the same things are important to us. I need someone I can spend a considerable amount of time with, so the relationship can grow. And I need someone who isn't afraid to let me see who she really is, and get to know her on a deep level. I hope that helps, but, of course, there can be many other things that are more important to you than they are to me.

Stability, someone who has his life together, some one who knows what he wants...a man i can be happy that i married him..A man who eyes tell his soul......A man that truly loves a women and lets her know not just by his words...Some one who i can see my self growing old with...A man who i could see my self having kids with....A man Who is "The one" My one!
