Because we use water to carry our waste. We have done a good job (in this country) of cleaning up our waterways and regulations are stronger than ever. But there are still treated discharges from wastewater plants, industrial plants, and farm and city runoff from irrigation and stormwater. It all adds up! It is cumulative!
The real problem, worldwide, is overpopulation and it is coupled with the way we use the resources of the earth. We take stuff that is widespread and dilute and concentrate it for our use (food, metals, oil, uranium, etc....) and then need to discard of the highly concentrated waste! No way does it get spread out all over and into the environment where it came from...instead, it usually ends up buried, in concentrated waste form, in a landfill or coming our a pipe in a wastewater stream.

They might of pour thier sewage in oceans, rivers, and problablay lakes. They also did some urinating and laying bricks in water places, like oceans pools,you get the point. They throw thier trash way in rivers, lakes and oceans. Now that was I call seven seas from the sewage containing trash,urine, feces,unclear water with cemicals thus, the food from the gaRBAGE DISPOSAL! evil LIKE PRESCHOOL SHOWS!
