Muscle spasms in the eyelid cause eye twitches. It is believed that it is related to the nervous system. Some people believe that these muscle twitches are related to emotional stress or physical eye strain. By staring at the TV all day can cause eye twitching, although this type of eye twitch is not serious.

I sometimes experience that too and it can be annoying. It usually happens when I get too tired from being in front of the computer for long periods and staying up late.

The best way to solve this is to give yourself a 10-15 minute break every 2 hours using the computer. It might still twitch a little but it will become less and less. Also, make sure you get enough sleep.

These may sound simple but often simple is the best solution.

Don't worry, this is called "tic" and usually derives from being tired or nervous. It's often caused by lack of sleep or watching too much TV, reading too much, too long etc. or just an inner nervousness, for example if you are stressed. It usually goes away after a few seconds or minutes. If it lasts longer than that you might consider a physician.
