if u have a barrel full of water what is the only thing you can add to it to make it lighter???

The actual answer to this is a hole, I think. But several other options are also available, if you think outside the box.
If you add a hole, all the water will come out and of course the barrel will weigh less, or be lighter.
If you add a torch, candle, other source of light etc etc etc it will make the candle less dark, or lighter...
If you add FIRE, The water will boil and evaporate and the wood will burn (theoretically, depends on where you put the fire I suppose), and the barrel will once again weigh less. Or be completely gone!

Well, if the barrel full of water weighs more than 130 pounds then you could add me to it... I'm so thirsty that I could definitely drink all that water right now, leaving just me.

everyone has said hole so im gonna say woodworm,they make lots of little holes- the water would drain quicker therefor making the barrel lighter.

I'd say a gap, a hole implies a small circular space, whereas a gap is a huge chuck of wood, making it lighter quicker.
