Yes, I do believe that God loves me. I believe that he sent his son to die to pay the penalties for my sin, and through His grace I will have eternal life.

now no longer all atheists are arrogant and self-chuffed. probably they supply theory to believing in God is the equivalent as believing in Santa Claus? That that's acceptable simplest except a particular, enlightened age? i replaced into an atheist (now i'm now no longer sure what i'm) and that i cared when you think about that i had to understand why human beings might want to sense so strongly when I had so little faith in God. and that i have continually made it a aspect to respect any individual else's non secular perspectives, inspite of what they have been. besides the very incontrovertible truth that i does no longer pass to church with my mom even as i replaced right into a teenager, I truly no longer laughed at her for going. Or laughed at everyone else. i'm sorry you've met some rude those who make you've faith this kind. Your faith makes you extra positive then without and also you should remember on your beliefs, and have self belief that God despatched those persons your way for a purpose (now no longer to remodel, yet as an example you the way individual existence in His mushy might want to be?) GL!

Yes, Jesus loves everyone no matter how deep in sin we are. I remember one night when I was a teen, I was at a party with ever drug available at the time. I was blitzed, I turned around and there stood a friend of mine that was in Bible college. I know beyond a Shadow of a doubt that he was not there but I swear I saw him. I was instantly convicted so I grabbed my friend and said "we gotta get out of here." and we left. My drug use tapered of after that, I do not know what would have happened if I would have stayed. All I know is I was convicted of my sinful habit and I thank God for that.

The idea of a dead guy loving me, well, it just kind of creeps me out. Also, in answer to your question: no I don't believe he loves me because.....he's dead.

Have you ever noticed that it was only his followers that saw him risen from the grave; no one else. Maybe they were eating some funny mushrooms or something. It is more likely though, that they didn't want to look like fools since their indestructible "Son of God" just got himself killed so they made the whole darn thing up. A more likely explanation than the resurrection story. You don't really believe the whole risen from the dead thing do you? The gullibility of most people still seems to surprise me every time. Didn't your parents tell you not to believe everything you read?

Too bad Jesus can't ask his father to get the religions to agree on God so religion/sectarian violence can end. Now that would be a showing of love.

Yes.
There is only one sin that is unforgiven...

Matthew 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Of course I do!
John 3 v 16 " For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son...."

Love is best expressed in action, not words.
"No greater love than this that one would lay down his life for another" - He who had no sin laid down His life for us - that's is the greatest measure of His love for me and for you.
