Assemble a guitarist with parts of other guitarists a la Dr. Frankenstein.

For example, James Hetfield's right hand, BB Kings vibrato, Steve Vai's experimentation and Stanley Clarke's ambidexterity.

As already mentioned, I'd recommend Andres Segovia, Paco de Lucia, and then add Carlos Montoya and the smoothness of Chet Atkins and his mentor, the gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt.

For me it would be the hands of Paco De Lucia, both right and left, Segovia's genus, and John Williams ability to play great classical guitar (the Godfather) and his ability to memorize music, and Slash ability to play the coolest rock and doesn't even read a note of music !!! And he even plays flamingo style fabulously, did you ever hear the solo at the end of Use Your Illusion 2, fabulous !!!

Eddie Van Halen's talent mixed with Hatebreed's hardcore metal, and Britney Spear's head and sluttiness :D

geez where does one even begin with all the talent that has passed and all the talent out there... I guess it depends on what kind of guitarist you want, do want a shredder, like Dimebag, or somwone with more finesse?
