im stuck in the middle?

my brother is 17 teen and his girlfriend just found out she is pregnet and i over heard my brother told me not to tell my mom or dad what do i do HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't tell right now. Perhaps he and his girlfriend want to talk to her parents first. Let them (or him) tell your parents in their own time.

Try to talk to him and see if he would like to talk it over with you. Perhaps you could help him tell your parents.

The real problem is that he is still a minor and not an adult. Bringing a child into the world is a very serious matter, it's not like he got into trouble by throwing a rock through a window. It's your parents' responsibility to take care of their children when they are not of legal age. And a baby coming into the world is not like a shoe or a piece of luggage....it's a human being. Unfortunately now he has really complicated his life....and the fact that he wants to hide this from your parents might further indicate that he might try to get his girlfriend to have an abortion (or in a non-politically correct term "murder the baby").

Morally speaking, he needs to face up to what he has done. The human body is not a joke that one can play with whenever they want....there are serious consequences when playing with fire in this fashion. This is why people should respect each other and wait until after marriage to engage in sex.....in this way one can weed through the users and manipulators. Your brother got caught red-handed now....it's time to face the music. I feel sorry for the poor baby now that will come into the world in a loveless parental template.

I think you should talk to your brother and ask him when he is going to tell your parents. I do not no how old you are. but being as you are on line i will assume you are at least a teen your self. I would after talking to him if he planes not to tell them. I would wait a few days and then speak to your parents and explain that he made you promise not to tell so please keep you out of it. But by not telling you are eating your self up. I would do what you feel and know to be the right thing to do. As a parent I would do my best not to bring you in the middle and go about finding away for him to tell me.

Well, your parents are going to find out eventually (pregnancy is kind of a hard thing to hide). Your brother should be man enough to face you parents and tell them. Talk to him about it. If he refuses, then quietly tell your parents when you are alone with them. The outcome will be a lot better than a few monhs later, and they will be glad you were honest with them.

You should talk with him and tell him that your parents have a right to know and that he should be the one to break the news to them. If he doesn't after a little bit then you should tell him that you will tell them if he doesn't. If he still refuses then tell them.

Well, it's kinda something he has to handle himself anyway. He has to accept responsibility for his actions. I realize that you feel like you need to do something, but he has to take care of his own mess, and be an adult about it.
