Ok lets try and put it another way - has Judiasm, Islam and other religions taken as much as of a battering as Christianity from Darwinism and other sciences thought to conflict with the bible?

Well, I seem to meet a lot of atheists who were once Catholic. I'm not sure it's Catholicism's fault or not.
Atheists believe flat out that "there is no God," with no proof supporting their belief. It's not very logical, and the ones I have met tend to be hostile to Christians, and even the mention of Christianity gets them upset. Agnostics are more cautious, more open minded, and are willing to entertain the idea of God existing, because it can't be proven either way, scientifically, at least.

Culture warrior - atheism isn't about hating God and their lives, it's about believing there is no such thing as a God which is a perfectly viable and happy way to live your life. On occasion even Buddhism has been regarded as a form of atheism - because they do not believe in God(s).

If you're Atheist how could you consider being a Muslim or a Jew? Both of these religions contain a God/higher being which by being an atheist you could not believe in. Maybe an atheist would say they might be a Jew or Muslim if they believed in a God because they agree with the other implications, ethics and morals of the religions.

This would not apply just to Christianity, but other religions. Maybe you have only noticed it with Christianity because your society's religious basis is mostly Christian, and you have not yet met an atheist who has much experience with Islam or Judaism - that they would not consider joining the religion had they believed in a God. Or maybe the atheists you have met do not like the ideas of the Jewish or Muslim culture.

Atheists are just sad people with no faith. They keep thinking they can change someone's faith by insulting them(check out some of the hatred posted on this site).I have no problem with them being non believers(it's they who are missing out),I actually pity them, I don't hate them. Why have they got a problem with my faith???I would not try to convert them, it's their choice.
As for would-be Christian atheists, I wonder how many atheists pray on their death beds...if there is no God (as they erroneously claim) what would be the point....I'll bet they still do even though the majority of atheists would not admit that they might possibly do such a thing.

I think the asker is under the impression that atheists are only found in Christian countries and are therefore Christian Atheists.

Christianity requires a belief in god, so you cannot be a Christian atheist. Judaism has both racial and religious facets; one can be a Jewish atheist.

Edit:

Why should the Abrahamic religions fare any differently from each other under scientific scrutiny.

the question does make sense.

Put ' around would be:

Do you get any atheist 'would be' Jews, Muslims or is it only Christians and why would that be?

Well who knows? I would guess so.

Also, culture warrior, how can an athiest hate God if they believe there is NO God? ^^

An atheist by definition is someone that denies the existence of a god or higher being. It does NOT refer to any in particular (i.e. christian God, Buddha or Oshum). So it is not important the culture of the atheist he/she would still be atheist just by denying the existence of a god or higher being whatsoever.

Can you rephrase? I'm not sure what you're asking.

Are you asking "Do Atheists want to be Jews?"

Atheism is not confined to Christianity. Anyone can believe there is no God.

the question just isn't plausible.atheists don't believe in gossip and fairy tale fiction.we only deal in logical unadulterated fact of which the bible has none.
