Do remember that most Christians are long past a literal belief in applying everything in the Bible, so complaints about them "killing witches" and such are just ignorant nonsense, foolishness by people who are several hundred years behind Christianity's progress.

I love free speech. I also love religious freedom.

The Bible is God's word and as a Christan I do read it every day. This should be true for anyone trying to get closer to God.

I do feel it is an important tool in learning about God. I agree some of it is not good reading for children that is why they have parents to teach them.
