I don't think Toyota will win until next year. I think it will be when they only have the COT to worry about. Toyota has the resources to tweak and test over the off season and they will come out firing right away. NASCAR will probably modify the rules surrounding qualifying in 2008 and you should see more Toyotas having a chance to race on Sunday. I don't think their first win will be from a dominant car, it will probably be some pit strategy or by "pulling a Mayfield" (fuel mileage win). So who better to get their first win than Mayfield. I think it will either be him or Vickers but they could pull in some other big name driver in the offseason. It's looking like DJ might be about done already.

Not this year, they will probably get 1 to 2 wins next year with Vickers.

I don't think Toyota will get a win this year considering that they just entered the chase for the nextel cup this year. Im still hoping they do get a win though.

Brian Vickers in Richmond or Bristol later this year, the 'yotas are making a pretty big move on the COT in the shorttrack races. They also could have a better chance if someone took out Johnson, Kyle Bush, Gordon and Mears...those hendrick cars are runnin pretty good this year.

Just a thought Brain Vickers: Atlanta or Texas: Oct 2007. If he can bring back the car he had at Lowes and they fix the power stearing he could be someone to deal with.

Not likely this year. They are to far behind in the development of the new car of tomorrow. Toyota is still working out the bugs. And aside from Waltrip, who doesn't seem to have what it takes any more (I love Michael!) and Dale, their drivers are not experienced enough to naturally make the transition from the old car design to the new one.

if it wasn't for the top 35 provisionals they would be allot closer than they are, with no provisionals there would be 5 or 6 toyotas in every race, not necessarily winning but ant the very least gaining race data and working towards the first win, i think its sad that nascar is working for the sponsors over the teams and drivers, lets call it what it is, the top 35 paint jobs

I don't think that it will happen this year but next year they might have 2-3 and Vickers will most likely get them that first win
