I am 25. I am married. We have a son who is 1 year old. My husband got 10 years travel visa in 2003 and he went to America twice in time. I applied for travel visa in 2004 and I can't get visa. Now we both have nice work. But I really want to study and travel to America. What should I do? Will they give me a visa? What do you think? Please advise me all?

Snobberb's answer is fairly accurate as far as people with same names being rejected as criminal or terrorist. they have a guys name on the "hot" list who has been dead for 10 years now, but because another has the "same name" as they put it - anyone with the same name doesn't enter.

But try these anyway.

United States of America.

In the United States student visa holders from overseas may work on the university campus for a maximum of 20 hours per week. Full time work during the summer vacation is usually permitted.

Working off campus can be allowed if permission is obtained for valid reasons, such as the need for practical training to help with your course or in some cases rules may be relaxed in cases of severe economic hardship. However permission from the authorities has to be taken before working off campus. It is illegal for international students to work off campus in the United States without prior authorization.

There are many jobs posted on campus bulletin boards and students are paid the market rate for the job in question. What types of Jobs are available on a university campus?

Here are some examples:

Networking

Teaching Assistant

Research Assistant

Library help.

Cafeteria help

Tutoring junior students.

Many studies create additional income for example by making resumes etc for students, accounting faculty students may offer to do income tax returns for students for a small fee.

Well, if your husband is currently here on a travel visa, you can apply as his dependant. For example, if your husband gets an H1B visa for america, you and your son can apply for an h4 dependant visa. If you want to just come and live here and work, there is no real visa for it. Unless your husband is a speciality occupation holder (Such as computer programmer) you can get the H1B and H4 visas (3 yr. temporary visas) an perhaps his company will apply for his I-140 (Green card process) which you will be eligible for since you are his dependant. Then after that, you can live and work here.

America is not all that glamarous if you have nice jobs and stuff you should stay where your at but..if you really wish to get in...it would take alot more work then that..and where was your son born? us or where yo uare at now? and well if you really wanna try getting in..try first maybe getting your son a student visa or even getting a student visa yourself "you could study here like you want and work as well" then maybe sooner or later you can apply for a green card and such

Unlike this country, where any criminal can enter, the Yanks immigration actually works and usually to the detriment of the ordinary law abiding person. Try asking is your name is on their files as being rejected for entry and ask why. They have in the past had completely innocent people arrested around the world for having the same name as a criminal or terrorist.

Support your application with a credible bank account to show that you can shoulder the expenses in the US. Present land titles, employment records and car registration to prove that you have substantial ties to return to your country after the visit to the US.
