"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind". 11 Timothy 1:7
I love this verse because FEAR is what keeps us from becoming who we could be. It holds us back. Fear comes in many different forms. Worry, stress, anxiety, etc. It also tells us that we are to be loving and sound minded. Do you realize that all evil that takes place is based on emotion...I feel! I want! I wish! I fear!..Mmm
Emotions have no guide lines other than SELF. "Principle" is governed by God. "Emotions" FEEL. "Principle" THINKS.
God said, "Come, let us reason together". If Jesus had been ruled by emotions rather than principle, He would have never made it through the temptations or dying upon the cross. Emotionally He did not want to die. Emotions are fine as long as they are tempered by principle.

"And it came to pass...."

Whenever I am in a situation that I find particularly unpleasant, I remind myself that the Bible has that phrase all through it.

Never once does it ever read

"And it came to stay..."
