If a color change is all that's keeping him at bay, then he isn't really worth worrying about. There are more important qualities to consider. But why does the guy have to pop the question? If you know how you feel, and you think his feelings are pretty much the same, why can't you pop the question?

The first guy I played "hard-to-get" with popped the question after dating me 3 months.
12 years and marriage and 2 kids later, I still get what I want if I play coy.

If you really wanted to get married, then you'd get your game face on and go "pop the question" to him. Of course, that probably isn't the question you probably wish he'd "pop." However, the principle still applies. You are only get out of life what you are willing to get out of it yourself. Stand up and take action.
