Every time you apply for something and they look at your credit file, it will appear in the future. That means if you are approved for credit, it WILL show an inquiry on your credit file (but if you are approved it will basically show the new account/credit approval). Basically, it doesn't matter if you are approved or not, if someone looks at your credit history, that inquiry will show up in the future.

Anytime your credit is run it will show an Inquiry. Approved or Not.
