Well, yes, kinda. There is no life expectancy gene, but you inherit genes that make it more susceptible for you to get diabetes or other types of diseases, such as cancer. Some even say you inherit personality and habits. Even if you don't inherit these, if your parents are smokers, it makes you more likely to be a smoker. longevity can be passed down but not always it depends on to many factors like cancers and organ failure wars to many variables if your lucky then your lucky and may survive to an old age
