The Jews have not been God's "Chosen People" since the Romans came and burned Jerusalem and the Temple.
The 180 turnaround that Christendom has done regarding their opinion of the Jews is nothing short of astonishing.
They have returned to the vomit-so to speak of exalting the fleshly Jews, who have absolutely no part in God's Kingdom unless they recognize the son.
Yep, some so-called Christians think the Jews are part of a permanent covenant, but the Bible says otherwise.

I have seen many people, even some christians, act the way you have described, so I can understand how you could come to that conclusion. I would love to give you a long answer, but for now let me just say that it is an incorrect view based on a misunderstanding of what the hebrews were chosen to do.
God selected the hebrew tribe to be His witnesses to all the people/nations of the world and draw them to God. In effect they were intended to be missionaries.
Unfortunately, stubborn pride became the prevailing characteristic, and through most of their history, most efforts were spent trying to keep separate from all other people in the world.
I know hebrews generally disagree, but christians are really adherents to the hebrew faith in God's plan. We have not rejected the fulfilment of their own prophesies of a messiah. They continue to reject because they have selectively set their hearts on promises of a glorious King to come, yet they ignore passages that foretell of a suffering and crucified messiah. They cannot reconcile these two views, but the truth is that they speak of the same person at different times.
Anyway, nobody can really "slap anybody away from heaven".
As far as God is concerned, there is no difference between Jew and gentile when it comes to heaven. The same requirement applies to all.
From the day we were born, we were doomed. If we do nothing about it, then nothing changes.
If we accept the provision God made to save us, then we are saved. It is really that simple.

You are his chosen people...the bible says so. The bible says The Jews will be blessed like the sands of the sea which they are. My feeling on this is that if Jews were to accept Christ as the Messiah, then they feel they would have to take partial responsibility for putting him on the cross and think they lose their Jewish heritage....but in contrary it was God's plan, and Jesus died to save all from our sins. Jesus also went thru 7 prs of hands before he got to the cross the 2nd last being Pontius Pilate a Jew...the last being the Jewish people in the crowd. Look at these scriptures and you will see the Jews cursed themselves with their words....Matt 27:27.
Mat 27:22 “What shall I do, then, with Jesus who is called Christ?” Pilate asked.
They all answered, “Crucify him!”
Mat 27:23 “Why? What crime has he committed?” asked Pilate.
But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify him!”
Mat 27:24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd. “I am innocent of this man's blood,” he said. “It is your responsibility!”
Mat 27:25 All the people answered, “Let his blood be on us and on our children!”
You see the curse....Let his blood be on us and on our children.
This explains the persecution of the Jews over the years, including the holocaust etc. Even though the Jews are his chosen people, blessed financially with intelligence...they put the curse on themselves. Why do u think the war between the Middle East and Israel is going on now. The bible says the Jews will get a double portion of tribulation..but they will be doubly blessed. If you are open to it and Jewish and want to break that curse for you and your family...e-mail me and I can take u through the steps. Obviously I am not going to be able to stop the war....but you will recieve protection from the Lord which is Psalm 91.
In Matthew 27:22...when the crowd was shouting Crucify him..he asked what crime has he committed. but they shouted all the louder, Crucify him! The bible says if you curse the Jews you will be cursed, and if u bless the Jews you will be blessed. If I am an enemy of the Jews I would not speak the truth to them. In John 14:6 Jesus says I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the father but by me....you have freewill..and no one is slapping you out of heaven...you are the only one who is slapping yourself out of heaven by not choosing him. We make our own bed then lie in it. I can't choose him for you.
I pray for God's perfect will in your life and a revelation of who Jesus is. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
If you don't receive him after hearing this message..then it's not your time, I will move on to the next person who will, as we are so close to the end and the time is short.
God bless You,
Daniel

If there is another reason why you wouldn't accept Christ as the Messiah..e-mail me and let me know what that reason is...as I would be interested in your perspective.

Paul wrote:
I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: "Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"? And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal." So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
What then? What Israel sought so earnestly it did not obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened, as it is written:
"God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes so that they could not see
and ears so that they could not hear,
to this very day." And David says:
"May their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
and their backs be bent forever."
He goes on to talk about the ingrafted branches (Gentiles) and then reminds the Christians that all Israel will be saved:
"I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
"The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.
And this is my covenant with them
when I take away their sins."
As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies on your account; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.
So we may not agree regarding the Messiah but we owe them for our opportunity for salvation.
I hope we don't often forget that! Be blessed!

They were chosen to have the Messiah given to them. Some accepted Him others didn't. If you don't accept Jesus I don't slap you away, I continue to believe what I believe and if they ask me about my beliefs I will tell them. It is our job as Christians to tell people about Jesus, if you deny him then he will deny knowing you. Why do you ask a question like this, all you are trying to do is cause some controversy where there is none.

Your wording is a bit odd. No one comes to God, but through the father. I don't "elevate" anyone to heaven. God's word says, whoever blesses Israel, He will bless and whoever curses them, He will curse. I live in America, and our support of Israel is, I believe, one of the reasons we have so many blessings on us.
It is not I who made the condition for salvation, Jew or Gentile, being through Jesus. God did.

As it is written, A Jew is not one who is circumcised of the flesh but of the heart...through Christ (Rom 2:28-29). As Paul thus writes, "not all who are descended from Israel are Israel... it is not the natural children who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham's offspring."

I have been asking that question for years and I have yet to get a good answer.
Also how is it that so many Christians support Israel as a Jewish state, but then try to convert them to Christianity. Isn't that also hypocritical?
