Good point! Dam good point!

I don't think a lot of people realize this yet...they keep saying, oh it will never happen to us, but little do they realize that the media is OWNED via the corp. who OWN the politicians.

We speak ENGLISH here.

Gotcha. Unfortunately, as with most foreign languages, I can't tell where the words begin and end! No lie. I really liked Latin, no speaking, except when our crazy teacher (he was crazy, but a great teacher) MADE US speak it. I'd get by with Chinese I guess, but only with pantomine and some of my excellent gourmet Chinese cooking skills. How much do you really have to say, anyway? "Hello, Please, Thank you, Goodbye, Where's the toilet?, Any paper?, ****!, Call a plumber!". The rest is cake, people seem to smile, nod, point, bow and wave everywhere. Except maybe for poor Queen Elizabeth, I think her stuff has to be choreographed, and match her hats.

Me? I'm planning to sell out here for a good price, move south and learn Spanish. Then save more to flee to a lovely remote mountaintop in South America, far from any US expatriate colonies!

BIG rat sinks BIG ship! (That's from an old cartoon. Too bad this isn't a TV show and we could just turn ourselves off. Oh wait, that's the rat's gig., and he's getting GOOD at it.)

I can order some food in Chinese restaurants with only a bit of snickering. I know how to write to the number 4 and I know a few words. Unfortunately, learning writen Chinese from a menu and CHinese chess, I end up using the archaic for for man and water. I forgot the archaic form for fire.

Chinese Democracy? Well at least there will be plenty of eggrolls to choke it down with. As for learning Chinese nope, I'm more worried about the bad drivers.

Yes, American is going to be sold to the Chinese and Arabs pretty soon.
Yeah, I wonder what all these racists are going to do when we have to start pressing 2 for Chinese.

Why? All I know about Chinese is what I can read in a Chinese take out menu. Why complicate my life more?

Everyone gets what you're trying to say. I really hope not! But if they'll put up with illegal aliens, I can't really say. I doubt that the Chinese would want the load on their investment.

Well, it wouldn't hurt. Cantonese is the number one language in the world with Spanish as number 2 and English number 3.

Wouldn't hurt for anyone to have a second language.....those that are smart enough anyway.
