Isn't that kind of like the same thing that fundamental Christians do? I don't care what anyone believes but shouldn't we all respect each others opinions? PLEASE no quotes from the Bible, I'm a Christian & I don't want to hear it

Thanks for bringing some maturity to the discussion. I'm an atheist and hate to see people run down others religions.
The only way to change someones mind is to give them better ideas, not just criticize their existing ones.

I agree with the "respect others opinions." But why don't you want to hear quotes from the Bible? Too many people poking fun at the fallacies of logic?
Actually, I agree. Let's just stop using the Bible. It may be helpful for intelligent Christians, but not for those who take the metaphorical stories seriously. Let's be reasonable and not make judgments from a mysterious, outdated book.

You call your own question an exciting one? with out understanding the answer? i'm confident you could do no palms on your motorcycle besides. If i might want to work out god and that's a guy i might want to first ask him to describe why he has waited so long. a normal visual allure enable us say each and every 25 years might want to have made each and every thing a lot extra ordinary. If god is a lady i might want to probably settle for. If I said her/him, i might want to comprehend, does no longer I? are you able to be slightly extra specifi about the close to destiny? before or after this weekend?

do you mean someone Pretending to be God? I'm sure everyone at one time or other has done so here. For a while, I claimed to rule the course of the stars. It was quite fun. I think God will forgive me, since it's partly true. When I put off my cosmos-directing duties, much goes wrong within the world.

I think God can handle it, but it's nice of you to stick up for him. Respecting others opinions is not always possible. I can't respect the opinion that the Bible is the inerrant word of God or that creationism should be taught in public schools.

well, I suppose the difference is intent. Some Christians 'speak for God' but with sincerity that they believe. Some just do it cause they think it's 'all in good fun'.

Honestly, don't take it too seriously. There's a million different trolls that come on here (mainly teenagers, I might add) that ask idiotic questions and skew peoples' perception of Atheism. 99% of true Atheists respect others' beliefs and only ask that they do the same in return (i.e. treat others as you would be treated).

As a Christian, I listen to the opinion of others and give intelligent responses. I do not give in to their arrogance.

( Did An ATHEIST CREATE a UNIVERSE? )
( Did An ATHEIST CREATE LIFE? )
BAD ATHEIST! ... NO Biscuit!
[Edit]: Re Your: "Can you believe..." ... Aw, c'mon! ... We're people, too, ya know! I'm surprized at you even expressing this - did you seriously think all half billion of us around the world and in all walks of life are incapable of politeness?
( That's a pretty impolite sweeping assumption, BTW, Liza. )
