I know you can get these teeth, (I knew a little girl who did beauty contests and wore one!) but I think they're like partials (You know, like grandma used to wear!) I'm not sure anyone would do anything permanent on a 4 year old. You might try an oral surgeon, but I'd think a regular dentist would help you more...hmmm....think about the partial...at least she could wear it in pictures and stuff.

As a dentist myself I can tell you that you probably are not going to find a dentist anywhere that will put in a temporary tooth for a 4 year old as most would never even consider doing this type of treatment. This is a very unusual request as having the temporary tooth could cause the permanent tooth problems as it is trying to erupt. Please do not put your child through the pain of a very unnecessary procedure just for looks.

Why would you ever want to do that to the poor child? Make her suffer in a dentist's chair to get something put in there that's just going to come out anyway in a few months?
Missing a front tooth is a very delightful period in a child's life. I love the pictures of my granddaughters when their front baby teeth came out! It's cute, and perfectly natural. The permanent teeth will come in on time without your doing anything at all.

Most kids lose their front teeth when they are 4 or 5. If her front tooth fell out on its own, the new one is right behind it so getting a temporary would prevent the new one from growing in. Don't put your kid thru getting a temporary tooth - it's painful, expensive and the new tooth could be injured by trying to block the space where the new one is trying to grow.

Besides all the wonderful reasons stated above.
I am Kindergarten teacher and it is a right of passage for kids when they loose a tooth. It is like their badge of courage and a sign that they are turning into a big kid not a baby. They love it! They often bring them in for show and tell and we make a big deal out of it when they loose one at school. Let the kid be a kid and have healthy teeth to boot. Let nature do it's thing.

that's nevertheless a toddler teeth-she'll be superb. that's no longer undesirable for her to lose it too early. i might want to be apprehensive about the adult teeth below it--i might want to get that x-rayed, yet i'm confident they can't say some thing until eventually it comes out. you could't reserve it; that's a toddler teeth. I heard about this taking position to such numerous children, you do no longer comprehend! i replaced right into a nanny for a dentist and an orthodontist. both one among them stated that if that's a toddler teeth, there isn't any longer some thing that would want to nicely be executed and to enable it fall out.

well i'd leave it alone My little friend who lives by me when he was 4 he nocked his front tooth out and they said it'd be better if they didnt put a fake one in. because the fact is that you'd waste money if you know she'll get her older tooth in when shes 5 or 6 so dont bother that really isnt a reason too.

And you may not... It's a baby tooth and at four years old, her new one will be in so soon it'd be a waste of time and money.

She will be okay without. She will be getting her permanent teeth very soon (in 1-2 years time). Doing something like this is too traumatic at such a young age. It is not worth it.
