Us Atheists are not obliged to prove anything. It is YOU, in fact, the ones who are MAKING THE CLAIM that GOD EXISTS, whom need to prove this.

As soon as you find scientific evidence that proves His existence, let me know.

to Craig:
From your logic, it would be equally credible for me to claim that the Universe was in fact ruled by a Giant Can of Miller beer that resides in the Supernatural level.

*Edit:
Yes, yes, I know, this question of "gimme proof plz" has been asked over and over again, but I just wanted to clarify that the Burden of Proof rests on you, the Theists, who are making the claim that God exists.

Damn skippy, I'm an Anti-Theist.
Isn't that fairly obvious?

Actually, until somebody finds a creation with no creator, the burden of proof rests on the atheists.

But God lifted all burdens from us.

(whipped puppy simper look)

Craig. think about what you just said. I really mean it. Go get a dictionary and read what you wrote while checking what the words mean.

Phantom If you simply called it the Universe or Earth, the World ,just anything except "Creation" Then maybe you could ask how it happened without being stuck begging your question.

It is really not a creation unless you can actually prove that somebody or something created it.

I hate IDIOTS!

Why are the atheists on R&S so evangelical and militant? If God doesn't exist, as you maintain, why do you spend so much time on him? Why not spend your time looking at internet porn?

As I see it, being an atheist means that internet porn isn't a sin (based soley on the fact that without God, there is no such thing as sin) and you won't go to Hell for looking at it (because there is no such place as Hell).

Okay...what really bothers me is that, as atheists, you claim to be free thinkers--and advocates of free thought. If you were truely free-thinkers and advocates of free thought, you wouldn't be pushing your ideas and veiws off on others--and putting down those who don't think like yourself.

Instead, you atheists--free thinkers--condemn religious folks as hard--if not harder than the evangelical Christians condemn people who are not like them. For you, athiesm is a much of a religious as Cristianity is for the Christians. If that weren't the case, you wouldn't give a rats **** whether or not "proof" exists.

Call yourself what you truely are. You aren't an ATHEIST. By your question, you have fit the role of an ANTI-THEIST. By saying that, I mean that the fact is not that you don't believe in God. That I could respect.

The fact is that you are against anybody beleving in God--that you are against anybody beleiving in ways differently than you do. By virtue of that, you are as bad as the Christians that you seem to dislike so...

With that said, I am not asking any atheist to give up being open-minded. I'm just asking that you don't be open-minded to the point of becoming as closed-minded as the religiously devout. Any time in history that any one religious dogma has controlled a society--be it Christianity, Islam or Atheism--it has been bad for everyon.

There is no one of The True Christian Faith who can prove God to you or anyone else.. nor can any mortal alive... the proof required can only come from God... When God wants you to know The Truth you will know The Truth... you, of course, will have the option to refuse God... That will be your loss... But the Christians Faith, and The Truth of God, may not be imposed upon anyone... And revealing The Truth is God's prerogative

No one is going to prove one way or the other. Talk is cheap. The oldest BS in the world is "give me scientific proof god exists". If you don't know that there is no proof, God help you.

As for me, the burden of proving is for you! not for us! We, in behalf of others like me, believe HE exist that is why WE need not prove. But YOU takes the task of disproving that HE does not exist for YOU does not have any PROOF nor needs to DENy HIS existence. The answer is that, YOU and the rest of YOU, like YOU, are AFRAID! AFRAID of knowing that in the end YOU'll lose everything you dearly possess and academically know.
Now, let me tell you something that will unravel YOUR quest for understanding! Science is so young that it does not have any scientific PROOF that how MAN evolve in this world. It is the biggest REGRET of MR. Charles Darwin that he died seeking, unveiling and discovering and did not ACQUIRE any SCIENTIFIC PROOF of HOW MAN DID EXIST/EVOLVE into this world. All Mr. Darwin had was an INTELLIGENT GUESS or what YOU called: a HYPOTHESIS!!!
Prove me how man really evolve and I'll show you how GOD exist. BELIEVE and YOU shall SEE!!!

Spoken like a true American! Sounds like the way the justice system is supposed to work anyway. When I see a theist attack the reasoning you just pointed out here and then turn around and consider themselves true Americans, I just have to roll my eyes.

And these theist freaks wonder why we fear them (they think we fear their 'impeccable' logic, but we know it is because of how un-American, authoritarian, nazist, and dictatorial they sound!). That and that fact that they are indistinguishable from the mindless herd...

Yes. It is that hard, because the sharpest minds in theist communities believe that proof can be argued. It's just a verbal puzzle for them to solve. They aren't foolish, or stupid, they just aren't really speaking the same language. To them the proof is the bible, and it's inerrant word, and we're too stupid to see it. We are at fault, because we aren't applying 'logic' properly.

When we make a statement of faith we are really talking to people of faith. We know the unfaithful won't believe it. One reason I know we are of the truth is that if we left this site you would have to leave also because your cause is empty. We Christians could go to another site and do fine. Where would you go with no one to take cheap shots at. You are the negative to our positive. The sour to our sweet.

You wouldn't accept it because your "science" accepts only natural explanations for what it sees around us. As God is supernatural (outside of nature) you would conclude that any scientific nature is unscientific because of your a priori bias.
