Our society is so overly-clean.
Did you know bathing every day actually isn't good for you? It dries out your skin, your hair, your nails.. things like lotion and conditioner would be useless if we all skipped a day sometimes.
Now, if you actually did something to get dirty, you should shower.. after the gym, everyone needs a shower. Sitting behind a desk, though, you really aren't getting all that dirty. Its okay to skip a day.
Clothes? Well, i guess it depends. Jeans, sweaters, things like that.. absolutely, wear them more then once. Shirts and such can be worn more then once if you didn't get sweaty or dirty and they still look and smell clean. Undies, nope. And come on... you can't say you honestly have never worn something twice without washing it.

Well it depends.
Some people sweat very little and spend most of their time in fairly clean environments so can get away with bathing every other day, or even every third day. As for the clothing, if they take it off at night and hang it up or lay it on a chair, I don't see a problem with wearing it again the next day. The socks and under clothes should be changed though.
However, if you sweat a lot or work in a fairly dirty environment, or take public transportation or have been to a place like a movie theatre that day, it's a good idea to shower and change your clothes.

It depends on what you do the days you don't bathe (though I doubt you just sit around and go NOWHERE every other day, and that is the only time when not bathing is acceptable) and what you did whilst wearing the outfit...I wear jeans 2 times before washing them...but I don't wear them 2 days in a row...I space it apart. If you got hot and smelly while wearing those clothes, you need to wash them, honey.
But, uh...bathing is good...and relaxing...and...clean.

I guess it depends. If you wear an outfit that you sweat in and get dirt and stuff on, and wear it again without washing, I would call that poor hygiene. But if not, then I guess it isn't really bad hygiene. Same thing with the taking a shower every other day. I usually take a shower every single day, but I guess it's okay to skip only one day sometimes if you haven't been doing dirty work or sweating.

Hey baby, I take a shower once a month whether I need it or not!
Wearing the same outfit two days in a row, god forbid. I've got a pair of bluejeans that are so old and so dirty that I could stand them up against the wall in the corner, and they wouldn't move.

Yes, you must shower every-day. I always take a shower in the morning, and if I have a sports practise, or game, or i work out, i like to shower afterwards. Its gross otherwise. You may not think you smell, but you really do.
The outfit one isnt so bad, but its just what other people think of that, that people tend not to do it. Its not good though, Id stray from that.

I think everyone should bathe daily especially if you're in a humid climate. You can wear the same outfit twice in a row, as long as it's clean.

not necessarily wearing the same outfit.
I think adults should take a bath or shower each day that act tends to lend itself to wearing fresh clothes.
however if one is ONLY around the house and hasn't done strenuous work perhaps wearing a pair of clothing two days in a row is okay.
but not to work.
of course the exception is underwear that most definitely has to be fresh each day.

Wearing the same clothes is in poor taste. Unless you want people talking about what or who you were doing the night before. Bathing should be daily, but like other answerers, if you haven't done anything strenuous or sweaty...rewet your hair, wash your face and pits, at least.
