You might want to talk to your Coach about stretching before and after practice. Drink lots of water to nourish your body and muscles. Eat about 2hrs before practice. Ok, just remember that anything in excess is bad, thus only take the required for those potassium pills. For the cramps, IcyHot.

Try limiting your soda and water intake
to just drinking when your thirsty or need to wet your whistle.
Large amounts of water and soda can deplete potassium in your blood which can cause leg cramps. Eating a few bananas or apricots before a game and one during half time is a good method to keeping your potassium level up to par.
Diet is important too. Breakfast should be the biggest meal of the day, don't skip or scrimp on it. Learn what other foods are beneficial to keeping your potassium level stable.
Magnesium is also important for your body to metabolize potassium.

Are you drinking enough water? I used to get bad cramping and fatigue while running, but it went away when I starting drink more water (or Gatorade.)

Also...are you stretching? This stuff sounds simple, but it can make all the difference.
