Oh yes, since 21 is such an important number for you, it will FEEL like it's taking forever. Probably once you reach 21, time will feel like it is flying. This happened to me once I turned 15. Ever since then, the years have been flying by.

As far as wanting to be young once you're older, that is totally true. I wish I were in my 20s again. We always want what we can't have!

I think you should just enjoy your teenage years, because these are the years where you can still basically do nothing! Your responsibility levels are generally much lower than someone in their mid 20s, so enjoy it while you can! Pretty soon you'll be looking back on them wishing you were "young" again!

That is usually true that when you get older, you want to be younger. I'm 27 and I'd love to be a kid again. No pressure and you're carefree!! I'm assuming you want to be 21 so you can drink. Look, it's really not that big a deal. I know it's probably alluring since you're too young to do it right now. But, it's a drink...it's liquid! What should you do? Enjoy being the age you are now. You're only going to get to be 18 for 365 days. When you turn 19, you can never get your 18th year back. Stop wishing your life away.

I suggest getting into a machine and move at or near the speed of light for about 3 years, then when you stop you'll be 21 years old but really not have aged at all so you can stay younger and still booze it up. If you can't do that you should not worry about the next few years, live each day and enjoy life! Do something fun every day and take life one day at a time. What you want will come in time. Have a nice life.

Since this question is in Beer, Wine & Spirits, I assume that the answer involves alcohol. My experience. started drinking at 15 and stopped at 36. Lost 21 years of my life by "having a good time"

what is the best way to deal with time?
1. don't wish it away.
2. don't take the first drink.
3. do the next right thing.

Dude, if you are in college, it doesn't feel slow at all (because you are drinking too much already). The best way to deal with time is to do stuff that makes you happy and fun things with your friends (time flies when you're having fun). Yes, once you get past 21, it really is all downhill from there. I would love to be 18 again.

Just sit back, relax, and enjoy being 18. That is it.

I remember when I was 9, going to be 10. I thought something wonderful and magical would happen. I tried to stay awake so i wouldn't miss it, but I fell asleep.

I woke up the next morrning and felt....no different.

Nothing wonderful or fabulous happened.

When 20 cames around, it was the same thing. No fairy came down with her wand and went "Prang!" to make something fabulous happen.

30 came and went without a skid mark. 40 followed suit. I turned 50 with nary a hint of anything.

I honestly do not feel anything different at 50 than when i was 10.

Sure, i can do more (smoke, drink, drive, have sex, buy firearms, use foul language), but INSIDE I do not feel any different.

Time is. Make the most of it

Just as fast as any 3 year gap in time. To be perfectly frank in college the defacto age is 18, and also after I turned 21 drinking seemed to lose some of its luster.

Don't be in any hurry to grow up... Yep I don't know where the last 20 years went.. Thats how fast it goes..

Why don't you focus on being 18 and enjoy it.. stop craving future and enjoy your current age...

Your future will be here before you know it..

I'm 40 now... Don't get me wrong.. I've enjoyed the last 20, but realize the clock is ticking and my youth is over... Not that I feel old in any way.. It the a number.....

Don`t wish time away. It`ll come and that too fast. Take the time to slow down and soak in everything that is happening now. It can go by in a blur my friend.

...And if you think time is going by fast now? Holy Crap...just wait!

Fishing, Sports exercise and the Women . Use this time to learn and have fun. Older means more work and responsibility don't get in a hurry for it.Many mistakes made when you are young are laughed off , when your older and make them they are laughed at.
