For starters, don't overwhelm yourself at first, you will just get discouraged.
Start out exercising about 3 to 4 days the first few weeks. If you haven't been exercising, do about 30 minutes at first, then build up to 45, then maybe an hour.
I find that if I work out for about 45 minutes one day, 30 the next, then take a day off....you won't get burned out.
If you take a break (a day or two) you won't get burned out as fast, and you are less likely to quit!
Then, you can build up to more time and frequency.

Your weight sounds about right for your height, perhaps losing isn't the answer. Join a gym and lift weights for body sculpting.
My weight was ok for my height, but it still seemed like my bum was just huge, I started lifting weights (not to body build) but to tone certain areas. 3 times a week.,and wow in about a month I really started to notice a difference, after 6 months all my old jeans were just to big. Didn't lose any weight.

At least 4 times a week ... but an hour a day is a great strategy. Losing body fat is about sustaining a calorie deficit.... burning more calories than you consume.
