he was the first man on earth..... However they have found a lot of fossils and bones of pre evolved humans.......
yet my mom said that Adam (pbuh) was a human in form, thinking, and conscious just like us, he lived in a house, and farmed....... and lived 950 years

according to science average age back then was 32 years old, and people did not start talking, and developing thoughts till much later....

I thought that religion and science could be out together in one unified theory but this is as impossible as putting General Theory of Relativity and Quantum Mechanics...
they'll always contradict each other..

your opinions?

The true religion? You have got to be kidding? If your Allah is so great why does he need me for his jihads? Can't the great creator of the Universe fight his own battles? And to the person who uses the poetic imagery of the koran as proof of how scientifically accurate it is, please explain the following quote: "Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted-Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs," (Qur'an 86:5-7). It appears as though the creator of the universe needs a lesson or two in human sexuality. Please tell me how allah could have possibly gotten this wrong?...... unless.... it's all just a big hoax? The more people learn about islam and the koran the more people will turn away from it. I strongly believe islam's days are number. But what will replace it you ask? Hopefully something that can at least stand up to a little bit of scrutiny

"Bismillahirahmaniraheem"
"A'uzu billahi min-ash-shaitan-ir-rajim"

When Adam (PBUH) and Eve first inhabited planet earth
they were in light forms (bodies). They had several siblings in this light form state. After the fall they had bodies made up of the elements similar to ours from the ingestion of food (an apple is a good example). They had siblings shortly after the fall. We have all heard of their offspring, and the difficulties they all experienced.

This is but an abbreviated form of the story, but I thought you must hear it.

In light form state they lived very long lives, and in the stage while containing the elements they lived comparatively short lives. Yet much longer than than the life span we experience today.

The story of mankind begins with the two, when they took physical bodies.

*Yes they had light bodies before the fall and physical bodies after the fall.

"Alhamdulillah"

Science doesn't know everything yet. When God says one day we don't know how many human days that is. This is beyond our comprehension and is mentioned in the Quran. In islam we have stories of 'giants' very large humans etc...this can account for the cavemen etc. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of this group of ppl but I have read about it several times. Check out the sites below:

Always contradict each other. Religion is bullxit.

Bible says Adam lived 850 years, you can imagine what else does bible say... Talking animals? Vegetarian dinosaurs?

Religion and Science can go hand in hand, you just have to find the religion that does.
Personally I find no contradictions between Science and my religion=)
Good Luck

The Adam story is fiction. For a more accurate history of the human race (and the rest of the world's biota), see:

In Christianity and Judaism, we believe that things didn't evolve. God spoke and formed Adam and breathed breath into his nostrils. This is what the Word of God teaches. Science does support it. Check out this site this guy is awesome and knows what he is talking about check out his show you can hear him from 12 - 4 pm eastern time.

I do believe that it is impossible to put the two together, as they contradict each other about so many different things.
