Well at least it wasn't Ham or bacon. Most Turkey lunch meat is fat free or close to it. So it shouldn't be too bad. Remember moderation is the key to anything healthy!!!

nah...for the most part poultry with out the skin is low cal as it's all protein with no carbs and very little fat content, if any. honey glazed turkeys, etc. that have had coatings, etc. will have more carbs than those that just have been seasoned.
all protein, no carbs and no fat
egg whites
skinless poultry (white meat)
many types of white fish
many types of seafood/fish

while lunch meat is always loaded with sodium and nitrates, its caloric value is the same as an equal amount of cooked turkey.

Lots of protein, read the label. It tends to be good for you if it is not loaded with sodium. Has tryptophan, will make you sleepy.
