Chow Mein is not authentic Chinese food. Although I usually I usually eat more exotic Chinese food...once in awhile I get a craving for Chow Mein topped with Chow Mein noodles...and a few drops of soy sauce.

I work at a Chinese food restaraunt, and if I had a dollar for every time I see chow mein each night, I wouldn't have to work there anymore!
I am a vegan, so I don't each chow mein, but once upon a time, I did! I think it's amazing though, because I never knew that they have a white sauce (New York. style as my restaraunt calls it) and a brown sauce. (Fall River style)
I used to think it tasted alright, but it always seemed either too mushy, or too crunchy for me.

Now... let's talk about spring rolls! MMMM! loll
