Look in the Yellow Pages under Shelters for Women, also, call the Salvation Army (they sometimes have shelters for women), call the Crisis Hotline Organization in your city and ask where you can donate the clothes.

Battered women's shelters are generally safehouses. Likely you will not be allowed to take the items directly there. Try calling a related agency like a police department/social services agency. You could also try sending your donation through your religious organization. Does your area have a Victim's Advocacy group? YWCA, Salvation Army and Catholic charities may be able to help you. Good luck either way!
