my friend died i'm getting a new tattoo i want a qoute or somthing a meaning or life from the bible.maybe about how life may be short or somthing like that so i only need answers from people who know the bible like the back of there hands or something i would like to be able to go and read it for myself and make a good understanding about it

Ephesians 6:10-19 If you read this you will find what you're looking for .To name some moving words from here.

I read the NIV
I'm not sure that tatoos are all that great , but you didn't ask that . Paul wrote Ephesians . He died in prison because of his faith . He carried the Word to Christians . Previously it had mostly only been given to Jews . He had been a persecuter of Christians , before Jesus appeared to him . His story is so moving . You should read the Bible from beginning to end . You'll love it . The NIV is easiest to understand .

The meaining of life, is unlcear because it is always changeing and diffrent for eveybody. It is whatever God, destiny, or yourself, has in store for you and how you meet it. I am sorry to hear about your friend dieing, but mabye you can learn something from it?

this isn't fromt he bible at all... but here's my take on it as of late. Life can be depressing and it leads me in strange places...
I have been ponding it for some time...
I believe I have come to the conclusion of the matter.
Each person is like a poop in the toilet of life..
We float around for a few seconds and then get flushed...
that's it...
Life is a big fat poop and then it's flushed....
wouldn't make a very nice tatoo... hmmm

The bible isn't a good source for the meaning of life. I'd get Equality & Peace tattooed on yourself instead.

that is from a book titled "knight in rusty armour" don't know the author. but it is the same message.
