she'd be saying it so that she didn't come across as liking you. she would want you to know, but is too shy to tell you, so dances around it and says she has a bf to cover up. she better be careful though, otherwise she will push you away like you said. why don't you just tell her you know she hasn't got a bf? thats if you like her too

Yes they do. That's the only way they interest in you. Girls tend to play games when they like you because they are taught that you should only be the one chasing them as well as being persistent.

Yes and no. It absolutely depends on the girl. Some use a boyfriend as an excuse to get you to chase her. Some girls are just cruel and lie that they have one so that you chase her so that she can humiliate you and laugh about it with her friends - and yours.
I can tell you this, if she's playing games with you, then leave her alone. There is no point in getting emotionally involved with someone who is just going to play games with you. There are other girls out there.

Actually it's quite the opposite. My best friend will lie and say she DOESN'T have a boyfriend to guys she thinks are cute just so she can get some attention.

it might be her and her boyfriend arent on good terms at the moment and wants to explore but still doesnt want to give that relationship up.. she might be interested but watch out cause she might just drift off after a while and leave you hanging

it could be both she could really like u but she want u to work at it so when u have her u could appreciate it and kno that she wasnt easy or it could be that she has a man but she wants to be truthful and upfront but she still wants u
