This is not a question. I'm just tired of reading things where my fellow christians tell other people how stupid they are. That's not the way to witness! Can you imagine Jesus saying that someone was a complete idiot? i didn't think so. preach, don't criticize! that way people are more likely to listen.

i know that jesus made some strong rebukes, but he knew what to say, when to say it, and who to say it to. and calling someone a hypocrite (which jesus does many times) is not the same as calling them an idiot.

"The single greatest cause of atheism in the world today is christians, who acknowladge Jesus with their lips, then walk out the door and deny him by their lifestyle. That is what an unbelieving world finds simply unbelievable." - dc Talk

hey, I totally agree with you, it really upsets, me to, and then there are the preachers who all they do is point out what it wrong with everyone else and never preach on what they're doing wrong. Jesus was never like this, I guess our fellow Christians forgot that verse where Jesus said, whosoever is without sin cast the first stone. ( that's not a direct quote, but you get my point)

correct, but also tone it down a bit. Stop getting all fundamental on people. I mean, come on, lets use our brains here and in the rest of our lives so we don't create a stereotype for ourselves.
What ever happened to compassion? Kindness? Do all things in love? Christ had a message but lets stop with the generic ranting and stop putting glass in people eyes. Sometimes I read that christians have blanket answers to real questions, and after being on this web site I'm sadly beginning to agree. Think people, Think! Don't just Regurgitate something, think about what your saying.
Thanks for your question.

"Are you still so dull?" Jesus asked them. -Matthew 15:6
I agree thats not the best way to carry on Gods business, but reread the things Jesus said. Pretend he was talking to you and see how you feel at most of them. He often had strong rebukes for his disciples. He even called Peter Satan once! Not to mention all the things he said to the pharisees!

This is almost exactly the same question I asked a couple of months ago and someone tried to convert me to Christianity although I'm already a Christian.
Sometimes people just make me really angry.

I agree. When I first found the religious section. I thought , Oh this will be great. But people are so mean. I came on here to maybe lead someone to Christ and show them how great knowing Jesus can be. Thanks for writing this. Maybe it will get some needed attention.

all too often these "Christians" are the basic reason why so many turn against Jesus.
They assume that if Christianity makes you so angry and hateful I want nothing to do with it!
and these are the Christians that will have to answer to God about why they felt the need to hate any of His children instead of showing His love.

Well said. As the scripture says "truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15).

Hmm.... for Christians only? I think your message is for everyone. So for everyone who has been offended at what I've posted I apologize. Yet it is the truth. Deal with it.

I agree, we need to explain to them the truth, but ina tactful way, jumping out from behind a bush and hitting them with our bibles isn't the way to go. :)
