The Church is not a building, or even an organization of people. Its made up of believers. Anywhere the faithful are, there is the Church.

Lots of organizations claim to be the one true Church.

Can any such claim have any credibility?

Many forms of worship are not pure worship, nor are they approved by the true God. So now, where do we go from here, knowing that the road to real life and godliness is very narrow, whereas broad and spacious is the road that leads to destruction? Majority of popular religions are false and frankly, they are houses of the devilish influence. How so? The word devil means a vicious liar. All lies originate with the devil. That same devil in the form of Satan (meaning great oppose of God), lied to the original parents, Adam and Eve. He is still lying today, telling drug users that it is the good stuff, telling people it is alright to steal, alright to kill and many lies that lead to sin. That same Satan is always going around in sheep’s clothing, although he is a wolf, a roaring lion that seeks to devour God’s children. He comes in many forms and disguises including religion. If you discover a religion telling a lie, preaching the untruth, then that whole religion is not of God, but is under the devil’s influence. Most today, are false religion. .The majority of what we know as religion or Christendom.. are false. The bible calls them collectively “Babylon the great.” They are as corrupt, immoral and ungodly as that ancient Babylon. Their end shall be ruins, just like Babylon which till date, lies in ruins.

So we ask ourselves, which house of the Lord can I go to? We know that we have to avail ourselves of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus. We know that the only true way is to conform our lives in harmony with God’s standards. We know that it is the only way that leads to real life, eternal life. We are aware of the warranty given us by God in Psalm 1 which states :-
1 Happy is the man that has not walked in the counsel of the wicked ones,
And in the way of sinners has not stood, And in the seat of ridiculers has not sat.
2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah, And in his law he reads in an undertone day and night. 3 And he will certainly become like a tree planted by streams of water, That gives its own fruit in its season And the foliage of which does not wither,
And everything he does will succeed

We also have come to know from Jeremiah 10:23 that “ to earthling man his way does not belong. It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.”

So given what we must do to guarantee success in Psam1,given the fact that we cannot direct our footsteps, only God can, given the fact that we need to incite each other to love, given the lies and deceits of Satan, given that we are witnessing ‘the hard times difficult to deal with’ of 2 Tim 3 beginning in verse 1, given that most churches are false religion, the questions become…….how can I worship God, wholesomely?
where do I join to gather ourselves to incite to love, where is the truth and the true form of worship that can help mold and shape our lives in harmony with God’s ways?

This is where accurate knowledge comes in.
Six features that identify those who practice the true religion are:-
1 .Base their teachings only on the Bible 2 Tim 3:16,17, 1 Thesssalonins 2:13, John 17:17, …Jesus always said “it is written: (Mathew 4:4,7,10).
2. Worship only Jehovah and make His name known Mathew 4:10. Psalm 83:18, John 17:6.
3 Show genuine love for one another John 13:35, Colossians 3:14, 1 John 3: 10-12, 1John 4: 20,21, Hebrews 10:24,25, Galatians 6:10., Mathew 20: 28, John 3:36.
4. Accept Jesus Christ as God’s means of Salvation. Acts 4:12, Mathew 20:28, John 3:36.
5 Are not part of the world. John 18:36, Romans 13: 1, Acts 5:29, Mark 12:17.
6 Preach God’s Kingdom as man’s only hope. Mathew 24:14, Psalm 146:3, Mathew 6:10, Daniel 2:44,

They are the ones of whom Isaiah 43:10-13 wrote ….. “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none. I—I am Jehovah, and besides me there is no savior.”
“I myself have told forth and have saved and have caused [it] to be heard, when there was among YOU no strange [god]. So YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God. Also, all the time I am the same One; and there is no one effecting deliverance out of my own hand. I shall get active, and who can turn it back?”

Those true Christians are the ones persecuted; are the ones derogated. That is no surprise, for Christ’s disciples were persecuted and Christ did say that the ones in Truth shall be the ones persecuted.

Let us heed the advise of James 4: 8 that says “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to YOU.” May the true God direct all our steps and guide us to worship Him wholesomely and in harmony with all His ways.

That's an interesting question. While most churches teach at least some truth, is there some characteristic that would qualify the claim of being the, "one true church?"

In the New Testament, Paul indicates that ministers of the Gospel can't assume their authority, but must be called as Aaron (brother to Moses) was.

Aaron was called to the ministry when Moses received instructions from God to call him.

So, if a church was established by the authority of God, could that constitute "the one true church?"

Whether or not this has actually happened is another question, but it seems like the case could be made that a church established in this way qualifies.

If this is true, there are only a few possibilities for the existence of one true church. Either the original church as established by Jesus still has authority or an apostasy occurred and the church was restored under Divine direction.

The ability to trace one's church back to the “first church” through apostolic succession is an argument used by a number of different churches to assert that their church is the “one true church.” The Roman Catholic Church makes this claim. The Greek Orthodox Church makes this claim. Some Protestant denominations make this claim. Some of the “Christian” cults make this claim. How do we know which church is correct? The biblical answer is – it does not matter!
Scripture never mentions using "which church came first" as the basis for determining which is the "true" church. What it does teach is that one is to use Scripture as the determining factor as to which church is preaching the truth and thus is true to the first church. It is especially important to compare Scripture with a church's teaching on such core issues as the full deity and humanity of Christ, the atonement for sin through His blood on Calvary, salvation from sin by grace through faith, and the infallibility of the Scriptures. The “first church” and “one true church” is recorded in the New Testament. That is the church that all churches are to follow, emulate, and model themselves after.

Churches shouldn't have to represent the individual doctrines or personalities of it's pastors etc. But many churches with different communities seem to be geared around certain ethics or attitudes. A church that is true might just be non-denominational that welcomes all.

You are correct. Any organization on the face of this planet that claims to be the one true church is a pretender. Christs church is everywhere. Any church that preaches Christ crucified are part of the true church and are sharing the Gospel and salvation with the world.

RCC do no longer pray to everybody yet God. praying to everybody yet God is a sin. in the RCC prayers they are asserting _____ pray "FOR" us. As for the pope, what denomination isn't ruled by utilizing a head that helps interpret the bible. For Pres, baptist and different church homes that have not got a hierarchy, the minister or reverend helps to define what's seen a sin and what isn't. in basic terms like the pope. RCC or any christian do no longer undergo everybody's authority yet to God's. i'm bored with doing this. you recognize what why do no longer you pass criticize rapists, murders, thieves, and human beings available doing incorrect. or in line with danger pass carry out a little volunteer artwork rather of wailing on different religions. sure there are variations in each church. Who cares? as long as you experience nearer to God and are not committing a sin, then it won't remember the way you worship God. If going and helping the homeless helps you experience nearer to God do it. If going evangelizing helps you experience nearer do it. Missionary artwork do it. the factor is there'll continuously be diverse church homes, diverse ideals and diverse perspectives approximately all concerns. God made us all equivalent, yet diverse.

There is no such thing. Anyone who claims that their version of the Bible is completely free of alterations or mistranslations is severely mistaken. Anyone who claims that their interpetation is the only possible "right" one is delusional.

To find the answer to your question you would have to read it for yourself in the Holy Bible.
The church IS just a building. but the occupants are the true christians, or not true christians. the Bible says; "you will be known by the fruits you bear."
