Yes, I was in a traditionalist Christian cult only for celibate men but celibate women could have their own community separately and marriedcouples and "people in the world" could be associate members. I stayed for 5 years and it was far from being completely negative,but it was obsessed with its local dictatorial leader(who was paraniod and controlling and later diagnosed with brain cancer.)
I thank God I left and I am not bitter. I have no real connections with the remnant still there. Be careful of any group that wants to cut you off from healthy outside contacts and does not permit questioning the accountability of its leaders and their actions.

2 actually, one for 5 years and another for 10, I believe the wemen were Opressed yes, I dont mean husband and wife tho, wemen are to be submitted to their husbands, I dont mean boot licking submission but I do believe the Bible, are you in one or were you?

I was a Jehovah's Witness for 22 years and it took me 20 years to deprogram.....I was abused Physically, emotionally, sexually and spiritually..Does that count?
