I'm 16 and havin some trouble with my weight. I've been having trouble with my weight for the past 6 years. However last year I became about 25 lbs overweight and I knew I had to do something. I went on a diet where I limited my carbs and watched what I ate. I didnt have fast food much stay away from junk food MOST OF THE TIME (i had a litttle every now and then). I also started to excersice at least 30 min a day on my treadmill. I was doing great.. I lost about 20 lbs. However now.... a year later i'm gaining it back. I'm still going on the treadmill however not as often (5 days a week instead of 7)and im trying to watch what i eat but it's been getting very hard on me. I feel like I CRAVE fatty foods... and when i allow myself to have just a little I eat more. I've tried going back to excersie every day and watching my food but its becoming really hard. How do I motivate myself? Any suggestions on how I could lose weight and keep it off? HELP

you might be eating too little in which case you lose water weight and muscle and slow down metabolism.
also switch up your routine - body gets used to it very fast and learns to work effectively on lower calories.
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Most people with weight problems become unmotivated after a while when they stop seeing any progress being made. This is what I do (and it works): First, you try to limit your portions, like try to have smaller portions. That way, when you feel a food craving is about to come, you can have a small amount of the food you like. Next is maintaining a good exercising routine. Running on the treadmill is very helpful but you don't really need to run everyday of the week. Weight lifting, yoga, and other cardio workout can help you increase your heart rate and burn calories faster. So overall, having a consistent eating habit and workout schedule can ultimately help you keep the weight off.
Hope this helps.

Ok the reason is that when u dont eat on a regular basis, such as breakfast lunch and dinner your body goins into a starvation mode and whatever is put in is automattically stored as fat to keep the body going for as long as possible with little food, i suggest you eat breakfast lunch and dinner but in equal ammounts, dont indulge urselft one meal and skim down the next! thats is very harsh on your body! I had the same problem so i know what i'm talkin about! plus it would help by working out!
