Lift their butt off their chair and pass gas while eating.No "excuse me" or anything....and they just keep eating and/or talking.They also liketo have "belch fests" after eating.Someone did this in front of me and I lost my appetite..they say I was making a bid deal..was I?

I believe those types of people are called "Hicks" my dear, and unfortunately I've seen it many times myself. It's very disgusting and repulsive. And no, you were not making a big deal. If anything, you didn't make a big enough deal! I would've gotten up without saying a word and walked away.

Once when I was invited to Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's home, one of the elderly people at the table farted. Everyone just pretended not to hear it. That scenario you described sounds like that scene in The Nutty Professor where there all sitting around the dinner table farting.

I was having lunch in a restaurant with friends when a well dressed man a a table closeby suddenly started leaning over to one side until one of his butt cheeks was raised and let forth a trumpet that shook the foundations. there was a stunned silence then one bloke started laughing hard and everyone joined in and the trumpeter slowly vanished.
Don't worry about small issues u cant control. Forgive him and move on.

Don't knock it. I have severe digestive problems and not farting or burping sometimes means severe pain and discomfort. Maybe due to a medical condition. But---

I always say excuse me or leave the room.

Nothing bothers some people. What offends most people doesn't bother some others in the least! I think that is disgusting, but not everyone shares my opinions either. I think you have a right to be upset!
