What is in The Airplane's Wings?

It depends upon the plane.

On the typical single engine piston aircraft, the wings are hollow. Every so far there is a rib and a spar that runs the length of the wing. Then, the aluminum skin is wrapped around the ribs forming the airfoil shape. On many planes, there is a fuel tank (either metal or a rubber bladder) in part of the wing. Some planes have what is called a "wet wing" where the outer skin of the wing forms the fuel tank. Generally, spaced in various key locations are inspection panels that screw off to allow a mechanic to look inside and inspect the spar and ribs. Also running inside of the wing are the control cables that move the ailerons and flaps as well as fuel lines that run from the fuel tanks to the engine. You'll also find electrical wiring for things such as wing tip navigation lights and strobes as well as landing lights (if located in the wings). Some wings have speed breaks, so there is the associated wiring for that as well as the speed break device itself. Well, I've run out of things that you might find inside a typical small aircraft's wings. :)

structural supports to hold the wing together, wiring for the lights, deicer etc, hoses for the hydraulics for the control surfaces (flaps etc) and huge fuel tanks and the hoses, wiring etc for them. Some have fire suppresion units for the motors and tanks in case of fire.
