why do dale earnhardt sr. or jr. fans allways put other drivers down?

My God!!!! Seems as all the Jeff Gordon haters have switched all their attention to Jimmie Johnson now. Imagine that. Why is it when a driver is doing well, it reflects on NASCAR showing favortism. Or does that only hold true for Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. When Jeff was doing well and winning championships, it was because he had NASCAR in his pocket. It was because he whined and cried all the time until NASCAR gave him his way. It was because he threw Fred Flinstone temper tantrums till he got his way. .... Crap!. It was because he is a damn good driver. It was because of his skill and knowledge of a race car. And it had alot to do with a great crewchief . It was not due to what all you Haters say. I have seen a lot of race's in my life, and I have yet to see one where Jeff did any type of whining or crying. Wanna know who as doing all the whining? All the die-hard Earnardt Sr. fans out there. Every time Sr. came in behind Jeff , it gave the haters reason to *****. Every timeSr. got a DNF, and Jeff got to victory lane, it gave the haters a reason to say something bad about Jeff. And the ignorance grew after the untimely, and certainly unwanted death of Sr. People see this as a chance to surpass Sr. in the record books....And the die-hards can't stand it. So the Jeff hating continues due to one reason..JEALOUSY. Plain and simple. The hating is so bad, it now falls on the shoulders of his driver Jimmie Johnson. And other drivers. So guys, lets leave the hating alone for a while. Let' stop saying how Jeff and Jimmie get their way all the time, and the have NASCAR in their pocket. Cuz everyone already knows that duty belongs to Jr.

Well I used to think the exact same way you do, but now my opinions about fans have changed. First of all, it's not only the Earnhardt fans that put other drivers down, all fans do it at some point in time. Earnhardt fans just get the bad rap for always being the ones putting others down because they are a big majority of the entire NASCAR fan base. So, when someone talks bad about a driver, your first instinct is to think, "well, you MUST be a Jr. fan", which isn't always the case. It's only natural to get very defensive of your driver, I do it too. I'm a Gordon fan, so I have to get defensive A LOT; much more than most fans of other drivers do. But you know, you have to learn to take it as you dish it out. Some fans can dish it, but can't take it, and some prefer to just take it, and let their driver do the talking for them. It's hard to have your driver insulted, I know, it happens to me all the time. But, all fans know the truth whether they are willing to admit it or not; and so do you.

Here it is. Most Dale Sr fans hated Jeff Gordon because he was the first to change the drivers in NASCAR, he drank wine instead of beer, he was from California not the Carolinas, so the fans automatically turned against him even though Dale Sr liked Jeff. That has carried on all the way to today. Since half the fans in the stands jumped on the Dale Sr bandwagon and became Dale Jr fans, they were still booing Jeff, and the other guys like that. Whats funny, is that Dale Jr is the same way. He listens to Rap, does commercials on TV with rap stars and if anyone should get the boos its him for trying to cahnge NASCAR in a way it does not need.

Yes I am a proud Dale Earnhardt fan all the way!! Now I am a Dale Earnhardt Jr fan and will continue to watch nascar as long as he is still racing.

Stick around and pay attention on this site and I think you'll see that isn't the case. There are a lot of Jr fans here that don't put down other drivers. I'm a Jr fan, but I also gotta give credit where it's due. There are a LOT of very talented drivers. There are Jr fans that weren't booing when Jeff Gordon passed Sr's all time wins. I personally think Jeff is an outstanding driver. So is Jimmy Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr, Matt Kenseth, Tony Stewart, Burton, Biffle, Edwards......................

I beg your pardon? I am a Dale Jr fan and I have nothing but the utmost respect for each and every driver on the track. Now granted I do have some drivers I don't care for personally and if they make a bone head move I'm gonna rant and rave as is my right, but other than that I love NASCAR so please do not label the Earnhardt Nation as the only abusers.

I don't paly that game I am a diehard Jeff Gordon Fan and my Wife is a Jimmie Johnson Fan ! She drives a 04'Intimidator SS Monte Carlo !!! And I like Dale Jr too !

i was and always will be a Sr. fan but, the only other driver I pu down is Jr. He got his name because of his Daddy. His dad worked long and hard to get to where he was, Jr just had the name, I think he is doing the right thing by leaving DEI he needs to get out of his Dad's shadow as much as he can and make his own name and earn his own respect.

You obviously haven't been around here long enough to see the Jeff Gordon fan boys completely disrespect any other drivers talent other than Gordon.
That being said, it's a different story at the races, and I wish the few Dale jr. bad apples that put other drivers down would stop. It gives jr. fans and jr. himself a bad rep, especially since jr. respects other drivers almost more than any other driver I have ever seen. It' very rare to see him wine or complain even when he does get wrecked by somebody else. And if he causes a wreck, he owns up to it. That's why I like him so much. He's a straight shooter.

I think Jr. fans are more passionate than any other driver's. They don't put other drivers down though. Now the Gordon fans are another story. On yahoo answers, Gordon fans are downright the WORST for hating on other drivers.
