I would be a college freshman in the fall of 2007. I need to start getting things such as pillows, chairs, sheets, a laptop e.t.c. I wanted to know if there was a website or websites that has a list of all of the things that I need to move onto campus. thanks a lot.

Your dorm director or R.A. should be able to give you a list. Don't get too much stuff, it's distracting.

Don't know, but one of the best things that I got for graduation (but thought was really stupid at the time) was a sewing kit. You'll be suprised how often you'll need it just to sew a button back on. Still use it to this day - 20+ years later.

Also pack a small toolbox with the basics: screwdriver (philips and standard), hammer, nails for hanginging pictures, tape measure, etc.

No one else thinks of those things - Great for meeting people!

Good luck at college!

Check out Linens 'n Things - they have a "Destination Dorm" area, which should give you a lot of the information you need, as well as the items you need to purchase.

Congratulations and Good Luck!
