I read the info on the website you posted, and I was not impressed. Basically, it's a list of supposed Biblical contradictions, along with the explanation of why they are, not, in fact contradictions. It's just a couple of people's opinions on why they think they aren't contradictions, with no facts to support it; only their interpretations of Scripture. Not exactly a convincing argument, one might say. I'm not convinced that it proves anything except for the authors being very opinionated.
So, no, I'm not going to be "turning to Jesus and picking up a Bible" anytime soon; already did that enough when I was a believer.
Have a nice day.

There is also PROOF for Biblical events thru scientific means. If you accept this PROOF, must you also not consider contridictions as well? Instead of sitting there saying, "See, the History channel just showed an hour long special proving the story of Soddom and Gommorah, HA!!, try to be open to the idea that some things in the Bible might have been altered for various reasons, and the "truth" blurred. Don't be afraid to use the brain God gave you, and consider that even His word is not exempt from a bit of tampering from men who have their own reasons and adgendas.

I had some people who tell me that the Bible contradicts itself, but no one has ever ben able to show me what is actually a contrediction.
And in my own personal reading of the Bible I've never seen one.

There's no way it could answer all the contradictions and still claim the bible is true. That's a contradiction in itself.
And remember, even if the bible were 100% true (and it's very very far from that), it still doesn't prove anything about a god. Nothing.

According to Mark 13:12; 15:25 Jesus was crucified the day after the Passover. It's the Gospel, therefore, it must be true. Unquestionably the truth.
According to John 19:14, Jesus was crucified the day before the Passover. It's the Gospel, therefore it must be true. Unquestionably the truth.
Which of these unquestionable truths is truer?

Nice try but a bad link.
What I find is people will research something from their point of view rather than from both an opposing and supporting view. So most of the links claiming to disprove the Bible accuracy are only skeptical in information. Usually the name of the link is revealing itself, like yours. Not a good position to take if you're trying to prove a point. I have yet to see credible evidence against the Bibles accuracy. If we have come this far in history and still can't find contradictory evidence, we never will. It comes down to believing Jesus was sent or not.

Even if there wasn't a single contradiction, i would never believe the Bible is the word of God. It just doesn't sound like it. A God will never speak like that.
In fact, one only needs to hear about the concept of Trinity to be completely put off. It is just ludicrous, plain n simple.

Due to the fact that these
Christians use the Protestant Old Testament which is lacking 7 entire books 2 (Tobias, Judith, Wisdom, Ecclesiasticus/Sirach, Baruch, I Maccabees, and II Maccabees), 3 chapters of Daniel and 6 chapters of Esther may be one of the reasons they ask catholics so many questions.
For the Sola Scriptura this is too bad .
In the 16th c., Luther removed those books from the canon that lent support to orthodox doctrine, relegating them to an appendix. Removed in this way were books that supported such things as:
prayers for the dead (Tobit 12:12; 2 Maccabees 12:39-45),
Purgatory (Wisdom 3:1-7),
intercession of dead saints (2 Maccabees 15:14),
and intercession of angels as intermediaries (Tobit 12:12-15).
The lesson, though, is this: relying on the "Bible alone" is a bad idea; we are not to rely solely on Sacred Scripture to understand Christ's message. While Scripture is "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" (2 Timothy 3:16-17), it is not sufficient for reproof, correction and instruction in righteousness. It is the Church that is the "pillar and ground of Truth" (1 Timothy 3:15)! Jesus did not come to write a book; He came to redeem us, and He founded a Sacramental Church through His apostles to show us the way. It is to them, to the Church Fathers, to the Sacred Deposit of Faith, to the living Church that is guided by the Holy Spirit, and to Scripture that we must prayerfully look.

Well the answer is: if the only thing that makes you believe in God is the Bible then you should have a look at what and why you believe.
The belief in God does not rest on the Bible. So really who cares if other people believe in the Bible or not?

This is not a right approach I think. This is a good attempt, but the best way to these contradictions is the personal approach. We believe in the Bible so we are more eager to solve these Bible difficulties than the people who do not believe in God..
