Any of these three cars are excellent choices. However, the Nissan vehicles will not need a timing belt at 90k miles which will save you $600. Any of these three should go 200-250k easily with only basic maintenance. Finally, the Altima and Maxima are built on the same basic platform, but all Maximas are 6 cyl. engines. The Altima and Accord are available with a 4 cyl. if you need to maximize your mileage. Hope this helps.

I drove a manual 6 speed Altima 3.5 liter car today and as always I am thrilled about the performance of a front wheel drive car that is capable of doing the 1/4 mile in less than 15 seconds from the factory with warranty. Buy the very best car you can afford with all the extras... wheels and tires on it at the time of purchace. 19" or 20"wheels cost less when financed for 5 years at the time of sale. Just drive both Maxima and Altima and look how slow the Honda is compaired to Nissan Power.

My parents have an Altima thats a couple years old, and its an okay car. However, the new altimas and maximas seem to have a lot more bells and whistles and new styling.
I drive a 5th gen accord, and am personally a honda guy. Accords are great cars and usually very comfortable (IMO the 6th gen accord of same year drives better then my parents altima)
But its really all in opinion. All three will last for a long time and are reputable. Look at edmunds.com and research all three. Then with an idea of what to expect test drive them and talk to dealers. Good luck

Maxima for sure. I say that because I own one myself. I was looking around for the best looking car I could find for around $20,000 I found my 2005 Nissan Maxima with 35k miles, pearl white for around $20,300 finaced + 100,000 mile warrenty + gap insurance and sales tax included. Mine did not have all the options, but a 2007 Maxima is around $30,000 + I would recommend the ELITE PACKAGE MAXIMA with all leather, heated seats, power everything, power rear window shade, telescopic steering wheel, heated steering wheel, power side mirrors, rear center council + many other things. Maxima would be the way to go I have mine on 22" blades, 35% illegal tint, 50% is legal here, dual skyview roofs with mirror tint on inside, touch screen dvd, tv, mp3, cd, etc and people are just loving it. Just make sure you get the color combo you want with paint and leather interior. I have to spend probally $700 on some custom 2-tone + Louis Vuitton interior on all doors and above

Those cars are not top of the line, they are rather consider economical cars. I like the Scion Tc, it a cute looking car for a women. I think it runs for about the same price as the cars your currently looking at.
My cuz bought one a year ago and let me warn you. I'm 5'9 and the height of that car inside isn't very comfortable. She got the 2-door I don't think they even sell a 4-door version. We'll like any other 2-door car it isn't very roomy.
