Ignorance is Bliss?

I personally dont think so.... infact ignorance tears me apart.

Ignorance is bliss because if you don't care you don't suffer. Sometimes I feel like the worst thing I've ever done in my life was care, genius and insanity go hand in hand because you feel the suffering of others.

Ignorant people don't know otherwise, that is why they're ignorant. However someone else's ignorance can do alot of damage to a person, I understand what you are saying. But for the person who is ignorant, if they don't know any better, then they don't even know that they are ignorant, that is an outside opinion of them..... If someone does know better, and ignores what he knows, that is another matter, but not ignorance.
