I got a ticket for driving without a license the judge ordered me to pay 670.00 dollars. If I keep going to court telling the judge I can't pay that amount what happens to me?

Eventually you are either going to have to set up a payment schedule for the fine, or you are not going to be able to renew your license.
Also, in some states the judge may say that since you can't pay the fine, then you can spend X number of hours in jail.

It's called a warrant and when you get stopped again or the police knock on your door or they show up where you work, you get handcuffed and hauled to jail where they do a strip search before you shower, then you put on these nice little outfits they supply for you and then you get to hear the clank as the door locks behind you. At that point you sit on this hard bunk with a blanket to cover you and when you potty, you potty in the cell where anyone walking by can see. And depending on the jail's set-up, you might even have a roommate or two or three........

I think I'd go to the Clerk of Courts and see if you can set up some kind of payment plan if they allow it. If not, you'd best take out a loan and pay it off and be done with it. You broke the law so take responsibility for it and obey the judge before they put a stiffer penalty on you or arrest you.

They set up a payment plan for you (most courts will make it as easy as $10 or $20 a paycheck if you're really hard up), after you fail to pay your agreed amount, a warrant is issued for your arrest for contempt of court. I'd say to pay the payment that you agree upon... but it's a free country.

If you have a job your pay can be garnished by the court.

You can also be jailed.

Perhaps there's some way you can make payments on this ticket. Check with the court.

Oh, you're going to pay it, either now without additional fines, or later with with hefty fines, when the DMV nails you at driver's license renewal, or car tag renewal. You will not get either of these items until you financial obligations are paid in full.

there will be a warrant for your arrest if you dont go to court...go to the judge and tell him you cant afford that...im sure theyll let you do monthly payments

its goin to cost 4 times as much and possible jail time if you dont take care of it

Well you're not just going to be let off the hook. You will eventually have to pay it (any wages you have can be garnished) or you will go to jail. Say hi to Paris for us.
