Bad morals. And bad diplomacy. And trade disputes. Religion is rarely a reason; occassionally it is used as a pretext; however this is becoming rarer. Bible Belt support for a Jewish state in the Arab world has caused untold suffering and violence.

Religions definitely...there have been more wars fought for the name of religion with ghastly death tolls then anything else in human history.
Just because there are bad morals, does not necessarily mean bad behaviour or more deaths.

Religion doesn't cause the wars..Capitalism and vested interest does. Religion justifies wars and incites the disaffected element of societies to fight their capitalists' wars.
Practicing religion is unto itself.. an example of poor morality.
