It's actually strawberry blonde, one of the cream-colored dachshunds.....

Strawberry is red. The most familiar and common of dachshund colors. A red dachshund can be any shade of red, from blonde to a dark shade of mahogany -- all of which is just red. It should have a black nose, black eyes and black nails.

Never heard of that color. Where did you hear it? I ask because it sounds something a backyard breeder would promote as a "rare" color and want top dollar for the pups. For conformation the AKC only recognizes three coat types, smooth, long hair, and wirecoat. And only two sizes, standard and miniature. Coat color is not important. I say that, but try to win with a pie bald (black and white) miniature in with a bunch of smooth coat reds, not going to happen.

they might be a red haired dachshund.
I have three Red Haired Dachshunds and also look on google images.
