You can get worms if you walk barefoot in poop-filled areas. A co-worker spent a few months complaining of horrible stomach pain and cramping - it took 3 doctors to figure it out - she had worms, presumably because she walks barefoot outside in her yard where her 10 dogs live and no one ever cleans up the poop. The worms can crawl in through your skin (they are microscopic - you wouldn't feel a thing at this point) and make their way up to your stomach. By the time people feel pain in their abdomens, the worms have been there a long time.

You can't get worms from your dog unless you have really bad personal hygiene.

same as teh dog don't wiat take teh dog to teh vets and have a stool sample done and treat him then go to you r doctors have a stool sample done and get treated.
but this is very unlikely
