the male is a outside cat and we have a cat door and we have alot of food cat food. could other toms come in cause i have seen blood so she is in heat and i hear this awful sound

If your female cat is pregnant and your male cat is neutered, then you've got other cats coming into your house. Aaack! You should get both male and female cats fixed - there are way too many unwanted cats/dogs stuck in cages at the Humane Society as it is. :-(

How long ago was the male neutered? Male cats are like human males in the respect that they have a reserve supply of sperm. So it could have been the resident cat if he was just very recently neutered. But it also could be a stray that hasn found out how to use the cat door.

I think it's possible that either she got out, and fooled around. That sound normally means that your female is probably in heat. Do you let the girl cat out often?

if you have a cat door she either went for a walk or another came in to visit if not more.
tehre have been instances of skunks,raccaoons,squirrels or othe animals come into houses with both cat and dog doors.
