on lap 90 jimmie johnson had the flat tire but there was no even though there was a lot of debris on the track and earlier in the race when robby gordon had a flat tire exactly like his they called a caution and jeff gordon was leading when jimmies tire went down but then at lap 106 when ryan newman was beside jeff gordon and jeff just said on the radio that his tires were shot and he couldnt hold on anymore so when newman was right beside him and you could easily tell ryan was gonna make the pass but they called the caution right as newman was passing him...sounds like nascar wanted jeff to win

Tony Stewart was right a few races ago on his radio show when he mentioned that NASCAR is becoming like Wrestling. For him to say that and to see what happened Sunday.....yes....I think these races are getting questionable and they are losing my interest if they keep it up. I know one thing for certain, if roles were reversed.....they would have waited for Jeff to pass Ryan then call the caution. And to correct those idiots that said Jeff was slowing down because of the rain....your full of it.....they played his radio conversation....he said his tires were crap and he couldn't go anymore. And if you look closely....it was only raining in turn 2, not where they the cars were when they threw the flag!

If you listened to the Commentary during the race you would know that:

1. Johnson, Favorite driver here, didn't get a caution, even though Robby Gordon got one, because NASCAR wanted the race to go halfway.

2. Most of Johnsons debris was on the Apron because he pulled down.

3. Downpours on turn 2 caused the caution, thats why Gordon slowed and everyone caught up real quick.

During the rain delay (2nd and final) While interviewing Newman, he even said, if it didn't rain we would have had him in about 10 laps. Also Newman stated that he saw that Gordon checked up, he looked to pass and was blinded by rain so he slowed down as well.

You think if NASCAR was going to rig the races they would do it for the Sports favorite Driver #8

i'm undecided yet might wager that that's with the aid of the fact she did not relatively qualify for the Daytona 500 yet, extremely, have been given in on driving force or motor vehicle proprietor factors. that's what the enormous challenge is for Tony Stewart with the sprint Cup races she is working this year. the guy utilising her motor vehicle for all the sprint races she does not run has to maintain ending extreme adequate to get her into her races with out having to qualify on velocity. She hasn't been able to try this in the time of hardy any sprint Cup races so far. maybe none of them. do not provide up on her working the All action picture star Race yet. If she desires to run in the race, NASCAR will discover the thank you to make it ensue, whether they'd desire to alter the guidelines to do it.

NASCAR did not want to end up halfway under caution. They wasted no time in throwing a caution when Robbie Gordon had the same problem.

Ya'll are retards. Gordon slowed down due to rain so Newman closed up on him. Plus, I don't know why ya'll are complaining, especially for newman. How many bs wins did he get that one year, I think it was nine. How manyh of those were legitimate. How many were won from pit strategy. Alot because that was the time when you could stay out on a set of tires because they wouldn't wear. He stole a couple of races that year. I guess if you think nascar can make it rain then I guess it is rigged.

Wow, there's somebody else in this world has the same exact opinion as me. I thought I was the only one in the world, or on this website, who realized this. Nascar is becoming some rigged up joke. They keep this up, they are going to start losing fans.

Give me a break.... This is a multi billion yes billion dollar business and if you think for one min. that any race is fixed you need your head examined... Look there are many things that I did not agree with what happened but rig a race? Never... You think Joe Gibs would be connected with anything crooked. Sorry... Your wrong..... Dead wrong... You have got to be kidding me.....rain-shortened to be sure, but rigged? Tell you what- YOU go out there and drive 180+ miles per hour on tires with no treads on slick pavement, and if you don't wipe yourself out, then come back & answer this question again.

Until then, get a life.
