I've known this guy for fifteen years, he's my younger brother's friend. He had a crush on me when he was 8 (I was fourteen) and it lasted until he was about fifteen, I was already well off at college, but everytime I came back he'd give little hints about his feelings. I never paid attention to it because he was fifteen and I was twenty one. Now he's older and he wants to have a relationship with me. He says that the age difference doesn't matter, but I don't know, I've never dated a younger man before. The maturity level isn't the problem, he's always been mature for his age, and I know he'll have his moments. I know this is asked frequently, but am I too old for him( six year difference)??

Don't worry about a few years difference in age, as you get older the difference will seem less and less. What you need to determine if he is the right guy for you, definitely go out with him and see if you are mutually compatible. Also, you might be the envy of your lady friends if you are able to capture the heart of a younger man.

your not too old for him, my bf and i are 6 years apart, i have a really good friend who is 32 married to a 21 y.o. guy thats an 11 year difference and they are perfectly happy, see where it goes, just take things slow

My room mate was 18 and dating a 27 year old. He was a smart guy and had his stuff together, and it was no problem.
